Intro
Touch footy in the 1968 had their first competition, rugby players used to use it as a training drill most clubs still use It as a training drill even know it’s a real sport but it’s a great way to get the team moving up and down in sink and to get them fit without the players injuring each other. I have chosen the centres and wingers to compare.

Fitness components and fitness testing
centre
the important components for fitness for a centre are Body Size, Strength, Skill and Technique, Endurance, Power, Speed, Agility, Flexibility, Balance and Coordination.

body size= if you have a smaller lighter body you have more of a chance to run around the bigger not as agile players.
strength= if your mental strength is there then you won’t give up on a play so you gain ground instead of losing ground.
endurance= to out run the other team so you can out run them with your fitness.
power= to be able to get to their top speed faster to try get through the defence.
speed= to be able to run away from a defence chancing you down.
agility= to try step the other players to try get around.
flexibility= to prove injury and to recover after training and games better.
balance= to be able to doge the other players without falling over.
coordination= to throw your players great passes to give them the best chance of them getting through the defence.
Skill and Technique= great passing, being able to step players and to know the plays that the captain calls.

Winger
body size= if you have a smaller lighter body you have more of a chance to run around the bigger players which is great for a winger.

Come up with some fitness tests that benefits a touch player.
Centres would do beep tests and the wings would do more explosive tests.

Centre
Beep test
Push up test and sit up test for muscular endurance
