Suicide is a major cause of death in the U.S yearly. It accounts for ¼ of the deaths in America yearly. Suicide is the third leading cause of death in the world, based on research, suicide attempts increase tremendously during teenage years. Teenagers face many different obstacles during their years. Teenager years are mainly the most complicated part of their lives because they have to deal with a lot of obstacles. Teenagers have to deal with the pressure of fitting in, grades, and bullying. Teenagers that have mental problems-like anxiety, depression, insomnia or personality disorders are at a higher risk to have suicidal thoughts. In some circumstances, people do not commit suicide because they want to die, they commit suicide because they want to escape the problems that they are going through at school or at their homes.
