Fossil fuels replaced wood, water power and wind power and the used of burning coal became more prevalent and green-house gas emissions increased dramatically. The industrial revolution changed how people would use and create energy. It affected the environment in larger amounts than humans had ever done before and negatively impacted the health of everything alive on Earth, including us.
